we have shared so many adventure and emotions
you have made me feel special
thank you with all my heart
I love you :)

Happily sewing - Cucendo felicemente

Finished:) so happy:) Finito :) così felice:)

My new phone case:) Il mio nuovo copri telefono :)

My new bag is ready - La mia nuova borsa é pronta #emmafassioknitting #emmafassio #handmade

Sewing has alway been a very important part of my life. Since a little child the sewing machine has been a part of our daily activities: from my mother I've learned to knit and to sew. By Swedish tradition, in our kitchen we've always had a space dedicated to the sewing machine and I remember my first experiments with fabrics. In the past years this incredible and beautiful passion has come back to my life, mostly thank you to dear friends: Anna and Benedetta.

Another felted hat - Un altro cappello infeltrito

My new hat :) Il mio nuovo cappello:)

I've made another felted hat,
it's fun and exciting,
and it's always a surprise when you open the washing machine to see what happens.
You can find here the first post on the experiments.
For this last versione I've used Rowan Tweed,
doubled (the green skeins and one white-grey).
I've followed the instructions of the original pattern,
with some modifications.

I've casted on 120 sts with 5,5 mm needles points
and I've concentrated some decreases in the first rounds.
I've worked 35 rounds before the final decreases,
by working them along the body of the hat every 7 rounds.
And this time I washed the hat at 40 degrees Celsius and the spin-dryer was set on 650.
