Corallo

Corallo is a pattern that was presented and created for a WorkShop at Unfilodi on the 29th of September. 

An incredible day with so many friends, so much enthusiasm and fun. 

There will be another WorkShop at Unfilodi in the new year on the 19th of January, looking forward to see you all again.

Now Corallo is available as a pattern on Raverly in English and in Italian here.

Corallo è un modello che è stato presentato e creato per un WorkShop da Unfilodi il 29 di settembre.

Una giornata incredibile con così tanti amici, così tanto entusiasmo e divertimento.

Ci sarà un altro WorkShop da Unfilodi nel nuovo anno, il 19 gennaio, e non vedo l'ora di rivedervi tutti.

Yesterday we had an incredible and beautiful day at Unfilodi, so special and full of emotions that I must confess that this was the only picture I took. 
So many unforgettable moments, so much laughter of happiness, so many hugs, so much joy:)

We are planning two winter days, on the 24th of November and the 1st of December, to celebrate winter, its colors and festivities, and new fibers:))) 

Ieri è stata una giornata meravigliosa e incredibile presso Unfilodi, cosi speciale e piena di emozioni che devo confessare che questa è l'unica foto che sono riusita a fare. 

Così tanti momenti indimenticabili, così tante risate di gioia, così tanti abbracci, così tanta gioia:)

WS at Unfilodi - WS da Unfilodi

 

In September there will be two WSs at Unfilodi: the first one the 22nd and the second one on the 29th. I am testing the projects and using the fibers that we will be using...so in love with them, so inspiring and special:)

WS in September - WS a settembre

 

Wow, I am so moved by the fact that you were so many  in June and the weather was so beautiful that we were outside, in the beautiful garden of Unfilodi.

And I am so happy that you are going to be so many in September and since there are so many that would like to partecipate, there will be two dates: 

22nd of September and 29th of September. 

There are going to be two diffetent surprise projects, but all of you at the end will have both patterns.

Wow, sono così commossa perché eravate così tante a giugno e il tempo era così bello che siamo state fuori, nel bellissimo giardino di Unfilodi.

E sono così felice che sarete così tante a settembre e molte di voi vorrebbero ancora potersi iscrivere, cosi ci saranno due date: 

22 di settembre e 29 di settembre.

Ci saranno due progetti a sorpresa, ma tutti alla fine avranno entrambi i modelli.

Ameno and the Museum - Ameno e il museo

As I promised last week, before the WS I took some pictures of the park in the center of Ameno and of the gothic frescoes. It's so lovely that we felt like knitting there, but also the museum is so inspiring.

Come avevo promesso la scorsa settimana, prima del WS ho fatto delle foto al parco nel centro di Ameno e degli affreschi neogotici. E' così bello che ci saremmo quasi fermate lì a lavorare a maglia, ma anche il museo è pieno d'ispirazioni.

And on the way back I took a picture of the Lago d'Orta. 

I was so taken by the WS and the incredible people that took part to it that I forgot to take pictures during it. 

Next Saturday I will, when we will concentrate on cables and on the project of the last WS at the museum.

E sulla strada del ritorno ho fatto una foto al Lago d'Orta.

Ero così presa dal WS e dalle incredibili persone che vi hanno partecipato che mi sono dimenticata di fare delle foto.

Il prossimo sabato lo farò, quando ci concentreremo sulle trecce e sul progetto dell'ultimo WS al museo.

Summer WS - WS d'estate

I am so happy to say that there is going to be a special event, a surprise, a WS to celebrate summer and our passion, knitting. On the 16th of June at Unfilodi. And these are some of the incredible and magical fibers that we will use, thank you to Lulù's exquisite taste in chosing unique and special yarns.

Sono così felice di poter dire che ci sarà un evento speciale, una sorpresa, un WS per celebrare l'estate e la nostra passione, il lavorare a maglia. Il 16 giungo da Unfilodi. The museum and the WS - Il museo e il WS

The Tornielli Musuem has sent me some pictures of its location and on the exhibition it's presenting right now (Duplice Paesaggio). I am overwhelmed by the beauty of the museum and the talent of the artists. I am working on the projects for the WS that will be held here in May and I am really inspired by these images.

Il Museo Tornielli mi ha mandato delle foto dei posti e sulla mostra che stanno ospitando (Duplice Paesaggio). Sono sopraffata dalla bellezza del luogo e dal talento degli artisti. Sto lavorando ai progetti del WS che si terranno qui a maggio e sono molto ipistata da queste immagini.

We had a sunny Spring day: so some of the knitters went outside and started knitting in the garden by the shade of the trees...unforgettable:)))

Era una giornata veramente primaverile: alcune delle knitters sono andate a lavorare a maglia in giardino all'ombra degli alberi...indimenticabile:)))

Easter WS - WS di Pasqua

 

 I am so excited about the Easter WS at Unfilodi:))

On the 31st of March we will work with these incredible and special fibers: Tosh Merino Light by Madelinetosh, Savannah by The Fibre Company, and Silk Garden Light by Noro. And I know there are many other novelties to discover.

This is the first hint, everything else will be a surprise:))

Lulù has a wonderful taste for colors and for selecting the most unique and special fibers around the world. Her taste and her research bring her to discover and choose yarns that are true joy to knit. 

Sono emozionatissima per il WS di Pasqua da Unfilodi:))

Il 31 marzo lavoreremo con queste meravigliose fibre: Tosh Merino Light di Madelinetosh, Savannah di The Fibre Company, and Silk Garden Light di Noro. E so che ci saranno tante altre novità da scoprire.

Questo è il primo indizio, tutto il resto sarà una sorpresa:))

Lulù ha un gusto incredibile per i colori e la selezione delle fibre più uniche e speciali al mondo. Il suo gusto e la sua ricerca la portano a scoprire filati che sono pura gioia da lavorare.

Spring WS at Unfilodi - WS di primavera da Unfilodi

The incredible Lulù has asked me to organize a Spring WorkShop at Unfilodi.

The date 31st of March.

And it is going to be a secret WorkShop...in the next months I might give some small clues...for now I can say that the fibers we are going to use are special, unique, and magical.

E sarà un WorkShop misterioso e segreto....nei prossimi mesi potrei svelare dei piccoli indizi...per ora posso dire che le lane che useremo sono speciali, uniche e magiche.

Wow, double wow - Wow, doppio wow

Wow, double wow: I am knitting these incredible yarns and I am totally in love with both of them, the colors, the texture...everything in them is making me happy.

I am preparing the WS for Unfilodi for the 19th of November and I am really having the best of times while knitting the Malabrigo Worsted and the Tosh Merino by Madelinetosh. 

And I must thank Lulu for her incredible and special taste for colors and shades:):)

Wow, doppio wow: sto lavorande queste due lane meravigliose e ne sono totalmente innamorata, i colori, la mano...tutto in queste lane mi sta rendendo felice.

Sto preparando il WS per Unfilodi per il 19 novembre ed è veramente bello poter lavorare con questa Malabrigo Worsted e con la Tosh Merino di Madelinetosh.

E devo ringraziare Lulu per il suo incredibile e raffinato gusto per i colori e le sfumature:):)
