The little baby is due in these days and the cocoon is ready, I finished it last night:) My dear friend might deliver in any moment and I am so excited about it... a little baby boy...

I know, in the picture, everyhting looks more pink...I have used a filter with Instagram that I love (1977 effect)...the power and beauty of photographic filters...the original picture is...

Il cucciolo nascerà in questi giorni e il sacca nanna è pronto, l'ho finito ieri sera:) La mia cara amica potrebbe partire in qualsiasi momento e sono così emozionata...un piccolo maschietto...

Lo so, nella foto, tutto sembra molto più rosa....ho usato un filtro di Instagram che amo (effetto 1977)...il potere e la bellezza dei filtri fotografici...la foto originale è...

 

While I was knitting and designing this Cocoon, Cuore di Maglia wrote  a post about the need of Cocoons for Preemies, so I decided to create a free pattern (Baby Rey Cocoon) and start a Kal in the Group Kal from Italy on Raverly. So this Cocoon has a double special meaning to me:)) <3

Mentre stavo lavorando e creando questo sacco nanna, Cuore di Maglia ha scritto un post sul bisogno di sacchi nanna per prematuri, così ho deciso di create un pattern gratuito (Baby Rey Cocoon) e iniziare un Kal nel Gruppo Kal from Italy su Raverly. Così questo sacco nanna ha per me un doppio significato speciale:)) <3

Kal for Cuore di Maglia

 

Cuore di Maglia is in need of Cocoons for Preemies:)) With a hole in the bottom for intensive therapy tubes. 

I have created for a dear friend who will be mother for the second time in these days a Cocoon and I have thought to transfrom it also in a size suitable for Preemies and to organize a Kal in the Group Kal from Italy to help CdM and the little ones: It is a free pattern and you can find it here:) And the Kal here:)

And a special thank you goes to Laura, Cristiana and all the incredible and special women in Alessandria for being the souls (also for all the organization) and the strength of CdM:))

Cuore di Maglia ha bisogno di sacchi nanna per i cuccioli:)) Con il foro in fondo per i tubi della terapia intensiva.

Ho creato per una carissima amica che deve partorire in questi giorni un sacco nanna e ho pensato di trasformarlo anche in taglia prematuri con foro e di organizzare un kal nel Gruppo Kal from Italy su Raverly per aiutare CdM e i suoi cuccioli:) Il pattern è gratuito e lo potete trovare qui:) E il Kal qui:)

E un profondo grazie a Laura, Cristiana e tutte le splendide e incredibili donne di Alessandria per essere le anime (anche organizzatrici) e la forza di CdM:))

New Buttons - nuovi bottoni

Today I have found the perfect buttons for my Tea Leaves Cardigan by Melissa LaBarre that I am knitting with the incredible group "Kal from Italy" on Raverly .

I was walking thought the stands at Manualmente and I saw them, almost waiting for me: I am so happy, they are perfect. Now I can't wait to finish the cardigan and wear it:)

Oggi ho trovato i bottoni perferri per il mio Tea Leaves Cardigan di Melissa LaBarre che sto lavorando con il meraviglioso gruppo "Kal from Italy" su Raverly.

Stavo guardando i diversi stand che espongono a Manualmente e li ho visti, quasi stessero aspettando me: sono così felice, sono perfetti. Ora non vedo l'ora di finire il cardigan e indossarlo:)

Yesterday: a very special day, the inauguration of the Cuore di Maglia headquarters in Alessandria.

So many friends came from far away to celebrate this special occasion and it has been so incredible to see them after some years or months.

Ieri è stata una giornata molto speciale: l'inaugurazione della sede di Cuore di Maglia ad Alessandria.
