New Pattern - Felicità Cowl

I wanted a cowl to wear in these cool winter days with my Felicità Hat. And I enjoyed so much the pattern that I have created a Regular and a Wide Size:):) Now I already know to which friends of mine I will knit the cowl as a Christams gift, I just adore it:):)

And this time I have written both the English and Italian versions, right away:)

Pattern translations ready- traduzioni pronte

The first translations in Italian of my patterns are ready: Mar's Cowl, Mar's Hat and Felicità Hat.

A new hat - un nuovo cappello - Felicità Hat

Wow, I wanted a feminine and trendy hat for these chilly winter days…I went to sleep thinking about it…and the next morning I just had to knit this hat…and I am so happy about it, I love it:):):) The girls fell in love with it too, so while testing it I knitted a hat for all of us:)

I am working on the Italian translation of the pattern, coming soon with other translations:)

Wow, volevo un cappello trendy e femminile per queste giornate invernali e fredde...sono andata a dormire pensando all'idea...e il giorno dopo ho creato questo cappello...e lo adoro:):)) Anche le ragazze si sono innamorate del modello, così mentre lo testavo l'ho realizzato per tutte noi:):)

Sto lavorando alla versione italiana delle istruzioni, pronta molto presto con altre traduzioni:) Per ora lo potete trovare in inglese qui.

And today I want to thank him, the man that for almost 20 years (oh, yes in January we will celebrate 20 years together) has supported me with his love and admiration, with his time and enthusiasm...there are no words to say how important you are in my life.

E oggi voglio ringraziare lui, l'uomo che per quasi 20 anni (eh, già a gennaio celebriamo 20 anni insieme) che mi ha sostenuto con il suo amore e la sua ammirazione, con il suo tempo e il suo entusiasmo...non ci sono parole per dire quanto tu sia importante nella mia vita.

Ideas, thoughts...it is December...I was browsing through blogs and here (thank you Ciami) I have found a beautiful idea: the Advent Calender Scarf, and I know, this is a very busy period for me, but I am really thinking about knitting it, as a form of daily meditation.

And, for those of you that don't know about YardsofYarn, I think that it is a website that you should check out if you want knitting ideas, video tutorials and many interesting information in Italian. (thank you Micicuta).

Idee e pensieri, è dicembre...navigavo in rete tra i vari blog e qui ho scoperto un'idea meravigliosa (grazie Ciami): la sciarpa del Calendario dell'Avvento. E lo so, per me è un periodo intenso, ma ci sto seriamente pensando, come forma di meditazione quotidiana.

TRUS and news

TRUS is ready, it is on-line. It has been a long and full of beautiful emotions creative journey with my friends Fragoleinfinite e Knitaly. I am proud to say that it is a unique e-book, with passionate short stories and shawl patterns. Last night the virtual party to launch the event...since I know myself, I had put an alarm clock at 11.30 pm (when I am really tired beacause of long working days, I usually fall asleep with the girls) to be ready at midnight...and there I was.


TRUS è pronto, è on-line. E' stato un viaggio creativo lungo e meraviglioso fatto con le mie amiche Fragoleinfinite e Knitaly. Sono orgogliosa di affermare che è un e-book unico con racconti pieni di passione e modelli di scialli tutti in italiano. Ieri sera abbiamo fatto il party virtuale per lanciare l'evento. Conoscendomi, avevo messo una sveglia alle 23.30 (quando sono stanca da lunghe giornate lavorative crollo addormentata con le ragazze) così anch'io ero pronta a mezzanotte...

In the meantime I have finished another Mar's Hat, knitted with stripes. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift for a dear family friend, but Rachele fell in love with the stripes and the colors, so I decided that it was perfect for her and these cold snowy days.

Nel frattempo ho finito un altro Mar's Hat, a righe. Doveva essere un regalo di Natale per una cara amica di famiglia, ma Rachele si è innamorata delle righe e dei colori, così ho deciso che era perfetto per lei e per questi freddi giorni pieni di neve.
