With two dear friends we drove, we laughed, we talked, we had lunch together, we went to Grignasco's special opening last Thursday. We spent two hours digging and searching and we did do some yarn shopping. Look at our bags:):) So many new ideas and new projects in mind:):)

Con due care amiche abbiamo guidato, abbiamo riso, abbiamo chiaccherato, abbiamo pranzato, siamo andate all'apertura speciale di Grignasco lo scorso giovedì. Per due ore ci siamo immerse fra gomitoli e ceste, abbiamo cercato e abbiamo fatto acquisti di lana. Guardate le nostre borse:):) Ora tante nuove idee e progetti frullano nelle testa:):)

New Kal on Ravelry

The incredible group Kal from Italy is organizing a new fun and lovely Kal on a cardigan: Lady February. I have started to knit my version last night with the Grignasco Tango and 4 mm circular needles. I am planning some mods, like bringing the garter stitch part under the chest and making it more tight fitting. And for the sleeves, it will depend on how much yarn I will have left: I only have four skeins.

This morning I have started to read with my girls some pages from the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: I had forgotten how lovely the story is and how many important messages there are:)

L'incredibile gruppo Kal from Italy sta organizzando un nuovo e divertente Kal su un cardigan:Lady February. Ieri sera ho iniziato la mia versione con la Grignasco Tango e ferri circolari da 4 mm. Sto meditando delle modifiche, come portare la parte a legaccio sin sotto al seno e renderlo più aderente. E per le maniche, vedremo da quanta lana mi avanzerà... ho solo quattro gomitoli.

Questa mattina ho iniziato a leggere con le mie ragazze il Piccolo Principe di Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: non mi ricordavo più quanto la storia sia magnifica e piena di messaggi meravigliosi:)

Working on a Gift - Lavorando su un regalo

Saturday my little one will turn 7...wow..time flies so fast...and when I had asked her what she wanted for her birthday, my dear little one answered: only knitted things from you:):):) This makes me so happy and proud....so here I am, working and knitting on all her gifts. Last night, at 2 a.m., I finished the sleeveless vest...I still have to block it and weave in ends...but I am happy I have finished it. Tonight I will start with all the animals and flowers. I will post pictures, promise:)
I have knitted the vest with the Rowan Pure Wool DK, that I had bought on Saturday at the WS. The real shade is in between the two pictures, there is a strange light for pictures in these days.

Sabato la mia piccola compie 7 anni...wow..il tempo vola così velocemente...e quando le ho chiesto cosa voleva per il suo compleanno, mi ha risposto: solo cose di maglia fatte da te:):):) Mi ha resa così felice e orgogliosa...ed eccomi, a lavorare su tutti i suoi regali. Ieri notte, alle 2, ho finito il gilet...devo ancora bloccarlo e nascondere le codine, ma sono felice di averlo finito. Stasera inizierò con tutti gli animali e fiori che vuole...posterò delle foto, promesso:):)
Ho lavorato il gilet con la Rowan Pure Wool DK, che avevo comprato sabato al WS. Il vero colore è una via di mezzo tra i due gomitoli, c'è una strana luce in questi giorni.

Grignasco Special Opening - Apertura Speciale

3-4-5 of February: there will be a special opening for the winter sales at the Grignasco Headquarters, from 9:00 a.m to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

3-4-5 Febbraio: ci sarà un'apertura speciale per i saldi invernali presso la Grignasco, dalle 9.00 alle 13.00 e dalle 14.00 alle 18.00.
