Faire Isle in Kal from Italy

In February there is a very interesting and helpful Kal in the Raverly Group Kal from Italy on the Faire Isle technique. The argument is the technique and there is an long list of beautiful projects to choose from. I am going to knit the Selbu Modern Hat in two different shades of green.

Thank you to all the incredible people working on this Kal for being so active and helpful:)

A febbraio c'è un kal molto interessante nel Gruppo su Raverly Kal from Italy: sulla tecnica Faire Isle. L'argomento del kal è la tecnica, per cui c'è un elenco lunghissimo di progetti tra cui sceglierei. Realizzerò il cappello Selbu Modern in due diverse sfumature di verde.

Coccole is my new pattern that I have presented on the 26th of January during the Knitting Day at Wool Crossing.

I wanted to thank you all so much for all your enthusiasm and passion. 

It's so special to talk about the design, the pattern instructions, the many different possibilities to create new customized garments only with some little modifications, to spend some time knitting together, to see all the smiles and to talk about life.

Saturday it has been a very special day.

Volevo ringraziarvi tutte per il vostro entusiasmo e la vostra passione.

All the threads to weave in this blanket are the metaphor of my thoughts of the other night...

so many, how to manage, 

am I doing the right thing?, 

am I saying the right thing?, 

overwhelmed by seeing them growing so fast and soon being little women in life 

not being able to protect them everywhere and anytime.

And while looking at his deep brown eyes,

 his words lightened up my thoughts:

"You are a mother".

Tutti i fili da nascondere in questa copertina sono la metafora dei miei pensieri dell'altra sera...

così tanti, troppi da gestire,

sto facendo la cosa giusta?.

sto dicendo la cosa giusta?,

sopraffatta dal vederle crescere così velocemente e presto essere piccole donne nella vita

non potendo proteggerle sempre e ovunque.

E mentre guardavo i suoi profondi occhi marroni,

le sue parole hanno illuminato i miei pernsieri:

"Sei una madre".
