Il diciottesimo progetto creativo di questa meravigliosa estate 

è un tutorial su come realizzare delle tende. 

The eighteenth creative project of this marvelous summer 

is a tutorial on how to make curtains. 

Prima di tutto bisogna scegliere un tessuto che ci piace e tagliarlo dell'altezza e della larghezza desiderata. Dobbiamo considerare su tre lati (due dell'altezza e quello inferiore della larghezza) circa 2 cm in più per lato per i margini di cucitura. Per quello superiore, dove sarà inserito il bastone della tenda, 15 cm in più. 

First of all we've to choose a fabric that we like and we've to cut it of the desired height and length. For the 2 sides of the height and the bottom we have to add about 2 cm for the seam allowance.  For the top border, where we are going to hang the curtain to the rod, we cut + 15 cm. 

Su tre margini dove abbiamo tagliato i 2 cm ripieghiamo il margine 2 volte 

e cuciamo con una cucitura diritta.

On the three borders where we cut the fabric plus the 2 cm we fold the allowance twice 

and the we sew. 

A questo punto dobbiamo cucire il margine superiore. Per creare la fascia per il bastone della tenda, pieghiamo il tessuto prima di 1 cm e poi di 14 cm e cuciamo. 

Now we have to sew the top border. In order to create the opening for the curtain rod, we fold the fabric first by 1 cm and then by 14 cm and we sew. 

Le tende sono pronte. 

The curtains are ready.
