A cosmetic bag- Una borsa porta trucchi

I am happy I'm enjoying creative sewing again, I feel again that incredible passion for fabrics and details. I felt in love with the owl fabric in the pictures, I love owls and I needed a cosmetic bag. As you know, I find very interesting and useful Debbie Shore's tutorials and when I sew this one I knew what I would make. I'm so happy about it and the girls love it too, they want one too.

Sono felice che mi diverta di nuovo con il cucito creativo, sento di nuovo quell'incredibile passione per i tessuti e i dettagli. Mi sono innamorata del tessuto con i gufi delle foto, amo i gufi, e avevo bisogno di una borsa porta trucchi. Come sapete, trovo molto utili e interessanti i video tutorial di Debbie Shore e quando ho visto questo ho capito subito cosa avrei realizzato. Ne sono molto soddisfatta e piace tanto anche alle ragazze, ne vogliono una anche loro.

Instructions for a bracelet - Istruzioni per un braccialetto

Requirements: Embroidery Thread Glamour by Madeira, 23 cm circular knitting needles with 3 mm points, 1 stitch marker, a button

Abbreviations

k: knit; p: purl; m: stitch marker; pm: place marker; sm: slip marker

Instructions

With thread double, cast on 52 sts, pm, join in the round

Rounds 1-4: knit to m, sm

Rounds  5-8: (k2, p2) repeat to m, sm

Rounds 9-11: knit to m, sm

Round 12: bind off all sts by knitting

Weave in ends and sew the button.
If you want you can leave it flat.

Otherwise, you can twist the body of the bracelet around the button in order to obtain an effect as in the first picture and then sew around the button to keep in place.

Materiale: Embroidery Thread Glamour di Madeira, ferri circolari da 23 cm con punte da  3 mm, 1 marca punto, un bottone

Abbreviazioni
dir: diritto rov: rovescio; m: marca punto; pm: posiziona marca punto; sm: sposta marca punto

Istruzioni
Con il filo doppio, avviare 52 maglie, pm, unire in tondo
Giri 1-4: lav a dir sino a m, sm
Giri  5-8: (2dir, 2rov) ripetere sino a m, sm
Giri 9-11: lav a dir sino a m, sm
Giro 12: chiudere tutte le maglie lavorandole a diritto

Nascondere le codine e cucire il bottone.
Se volete potete lasciarlo piatto.

Altrimenti, potete attorcigliare il corpo del braccialetto intorno al bottone in modo tale da ottenere un effetto come nelle prima foto e cucite intorno al bottone per fissare.

The slow project - Il progetto lento

My slow project is slowly growing. I've finished the first skein and I've started the second one. I had bought four for this blanket, so I have some more squares to crochet. Now I know exactly how many of them I can make with one skein of Taiyo Sock by Noro: 34. I am going to join them by crocheting and I can't decide the color I'll use to do it: gray, black, or burgundy? 

Il mio progetto lento sta lentamente crescendo. Ho finito il primo gomitolo e ho iniziato il secondo. Ne avevo comprati quattro, per cui ho ancora un po' di piastrelle da realizzare. Ora so esattamente quante ne riesco a fare con una matassa di Taiyo Sock della Noro: 34. Le unirò con l'uncinetto e non riesco ancora a decidere con quale colore: nero, grigio o bordeaux?

Some of you have written to me asking me about these crochet hooks: since I've started using them I find it more relaxing to work for hours in a row, thank you to the ergonomic and soft structure. It's easier to hold them in the hand and it's less stressful for the fingers.

Mi avete scritto per chiedermi informazioni su questi uncinetti: da quando ho iniziato a usarli trovo che sia più rilassante lavorare per diverse ore di seguito, grazie alla struttura morbida ed ergonomica. E' più facile tenerli nella mano ed è meno stressante per le dita.

Cuore di Maglia Camp

This picture is from last year Cuore di Maglia Camp: we were so many and we spent two beautiful days together. In ten days there is going to be the 2014 Cuore di Maglia Camp, and I can't wait.
