Yarn in Stockholm - Filati a Stoccolma

In the old part of Stockholm, Gamla Stan, near the Castle and in the beautiful little streets where you feel the history of the town at every step you make, there is this beautiful yarn shop, Anntorps Väv.
By looking through the window, I noticed some beautiful skeins with delicate shades.
When I walked in, the sweet smile of the owner welcomed me. She told me that the skeins, 100% silk, were hand-dyed by herself. I bought the green one in the picture and a peach one for my mom.
We talked about a common passion, fibers, colors and yarns. A very special encounter.

Nella parte vecchia di Stoccolma, Gamla Stan, vicino al castello e nelle meravigliose piccole strade dove si percepisce la storia della città a ogni passo che si fa, c'è un bellissimo negozio di lana, Anntorps Väv. Guardando attraverso la vetrina, ho notato alcune bellissime matasse con sfumature delicate. Quando sono entrata, il dolce sorriso della proprietaria mi ha dato il benvenuto. Mi ha raccontato che lei stessa tingeva le matasse, 100% seta. Ho comprato quella verde nella foto e una color pesca per mia madre. Abbiamo parlato di una passione comune, di fibre, colori e filati. Un incontro molto speciale.
